About
Hi my name is Hiro Hiratsuka. I was born in Japan, and spent my formative years in the country (until Grade 10). I went to the U.S. for my Grade 11, return for Grade 12, then went to the U.S. for my university and first graduate degree. I also worked in the U.S. universities and one German university for five years before coming to Japan with a grant from Rotary Foundation (Rotary Peace Fellowship). My research areas are: Intercultural Education, Peace and Conflict Studies, Higher Education Administration, and Program Evaluation. Most recently, I have been working with a group of international students at Aoyama Gakuin University; I am responsible for designing cultural transition orientations and program evaluation for the graduate school.
